The display has graphic representations (2, 3) for a battery and a reservoir respectively providing electric energy and fuel to an engine of a motor vehicle. The representations are located at a rim (16) of a speedometer (1) e.g. circular shaped speedometer. The representations indicate one energy source, providing the energy to the engine, from a set of energy sources. The cylindrical length (L2) and the length (L3) of the respective representations associated to the sources, are representative of proportions of the energy provided to the engine, by the sources, to displace the vehicle.
