PURPOSE:To achieve a higher efficiency with excellent characteristics of T.D.R. and shorter flame even when a heat exchanger is provided by arranging a gas distributor having a diffusion plate on the downstream side of a gas jet hole and an air injector having a plurality of air holes for jetting a combustion air flow downward vertically. CONSTITUTION:A fuel gas flows horizontally into a combustion chamber 19 from a jet hole 13 provided a distributor 12 via a pipe 10 and a control valve 11 while a part thereof flowing vertically downward is dispersed horizontally with a diffusion plate 14. A combustion air jets downward vertically from an air hole 18 provided on a jetter 17 so perpendicularly to the gas flow as to promote the mixing effectively. Here, a part of inward air current is given a horizontal speed component with the diffusion plate 14 like the gas flows to achieve a uniformized diffusion and moreover, a reflux area is formed in the proximity of the diffusion plate 14. Then, only at the startup, the gas is ignited with an ignition plug 20 and burnt but the diffusion plate 14 enables the formation of a stable flame. |
