PURPOSE:To raise a degree of engagement of a driving roll and a photosensitive body belt, and to stabilize a driving speed of the belt by constituting the outside peripheral surface of the roll, of a metal, and sucking the belt through a sucking hole formed on the outside peripheral surface of the roll. CONSTITUTION:A driving roll 8 is formed by a gear 14 for transferring a driving force receiving a rotational driving of a motor through a driving belt 11, a pulley 12 and a driving gear 13, to the driving roll 8, a bearing 15 for supporing the roll 8, and a pipe 18 having a connecting hole 17 opened at a prescribed interval in the inside of the roll 8 and communicated to a sucking device through a filterbox 16. In this state, when a sucking force works through the connecting hole 17, an opening part of a partition roll 21 supported axially by the pipe 18, and a sucking hole 20 in accordance with an operation of the sucking device, a photosensitive body belt is sucked to the roll 8 extending over an angle alpha, and a degree of engagement of both of them is raised. When the roll 8 is driven in this state, the belt circulates, and a copying operation can be executed. |
