PURPOSE:The titled product, obtained by applying an insulating material containing a specific aromatic polyimide compound to a flexible conductor, and curing the resultant film, and having sufficient adhesive force, heat resistance and dimensional stability without curl, distortion, warpage, etc. even by applying thermal history thereto. CONSTITUTION:A product obtained by applying an insulating material containing a polyimide compound having structural units of formula I [Ar1 is formula II (R is lower alkyl, alkoxyl or halogen; n and n' are 0-4), formula III (n'' and n''' are 0-4), etc.; Ar2 is formula IV or V], e.g. polyimide obtained by reacting 4,4'- diaminodiphenyl ether with pyromellitic acid dianhydride, or a precursor thereof directly to a conductor, e.g. rolled copper foil, and curing the resultant film.
