PURPOSE:To minimize a load of a transporting means by coupling a moving part of the transporting means with a fixed part of said means through a spring and ring spindle and balancing mass of the moving part with energized force of the spring. CONSTITUTION:The 1st carriage 56 being a moving part of a transporting device 14 is coupled with a frame 54 being a fixed part through springs 82 and 82 and ring spindles 77 and 77. When mass of the 1st carriage 56 is balanced with energized force of said spring 82 on a center of total strokes in the vertical direction, the unbalanced quantity between upper and lower ends becomes smaller; therefore a small drive motor can be selected. Furthermore said balancing can be executed in smaller space thanks to the ring spindle 77. Moreover, a balancing function with light weight having a long service life can be obtained at a low cost by employing the spring 82, especially a coil spring.
