The invention relates to 7-amino-1-cyclopropyl-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-quinoline-3-carbo xylic acids, processes for their preparation and compositions containing them as antibacterial agents. Also included in the invention are methods for treating bacterial infection using the compounds and compositions of the invention.
