<p>PURPOSE:To initialize an initializing device from a remote place through a transmission line by preparing and transmitting specific data different from a normal transmission frame and discriminating the transmitted data on the receiving side to output the data as an initializing signal for the self-station. CONSTITUTION:The initializing device is constituted by connecting a system CPU1 and a transmission interface 2 through a CPU bus 3. The handling of the system CPU1 and a transmisson CPU20 is executed through a common memory 22 which can be accessed from both the CPUs 1, 20, and normal transmission, data are sent to the transmission line through a transmission controller 24. There are several kinds of frames such as connect and acknowledgment as transmission processes and each frame is provided with an individual control field C to discriminate the frame. The CPU20 decides the kind of the frame while observing the field C to execute the processes. A station receiving an opposite station initializing frame as one of frames outputs the frame from its output port 25.</p> |
