PURPOSE:To facilitate the fine adjustment of clearance between the end of the spiral side plate of respective scrolls and the bottom surface of the base plate by uniformly press-fitting elements for fine adjustment into the guide section disposed in the end of the spiral side plate of the scrolls. CONSTITUTION:The scroll fluid machine has a mutually meshing stationary scroll 1 and a movable scroll 2 which respectively have a spiral side plate 101, 201 which is formed integrally with the base plate 102, 202, and delivers compressed fluid by the rotational movement of the movable scroll 2. In the present embodiment, a groove 5 as a guide section is formed in the lengthwise direction of the spiral in the end surface 101a, 201a of each side plate 101, 201, and an element 6 for fine adjustment is inserted in each groove 5. Each element 6 is press-fitted into the groove 5 so that both sides of the element 6 may tightly contact in the lengthwise direction of the spiral, and the fine adjustment of clearance between the end surface 101a, 201a of each side plate and corresponding bottom surface 202a, 102a of the base plate can be made via the respective elements 6. |
