<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a dynamic rain-like domain from deteriorating its display quality by forming linearly as much as possible a gap between a source line and a picture element. CONSTITUTION:A picture element of a display of an active matrix driving system is constituted of a gate line 1 running in the horizontal direction, a source line 2, running in the horizontal direction, a picture element electrode 3, a double gate 4 of a polycrystal silicon transistor, a source 5 and a drain 6. The contact part between the line 2 and the polycrystal silicon of the transistor is formed so that only one side of the right side is swollen out. As a result, a dynamic rain- like domain generated between the line 2 and the picture element electrode 3 of the left side annihilates quickly because the gap becomes linear. In the gap of the right side of the line 2, a gap between picture elements of a filter layer 20 of a common electrode 13 side is matched between the line 2 and the picture element electrode 13 of the left side, and the generation of the dynamic rain-like domain 21 can be controlled. In this way, deterioration in display quality can be prevented.</p> |
