PURPOSE:To reduce number of parts and weight by a method wherein a trestle, supporting bearings, is provided in the outer walls of a bulb and a stator and is supported on the outer peripheral concrete of a water introducing path through supporting members. CONSTITUTION:The bearings 1-3, supporting a main shaft 23 for a generator 27 and a runner 12, are fixed to the trestle provided in a bulb 18. The outer wall 6 of a stator is fixed to the trestle 15. The trestle 15 is fixed to a supporting member 16 made of reinforced concrete. A plurality of supporting members are arranged in the water introducing path 25 below the generator 27 so as to penetrate the outer wall 5 of the bulb and the outer wall 6 of the stator while the lower ends thereof are fixed to the outer peripheral concrete 19 of the water introducing path 25. According to this method, conventional stay vane casing to support respective bearings 1-3 my become unnecessary and the thicknesses of respective outer walls 5, 6 may be thinned. |
