发明名称 LIQUID LEVEL MEASURING METHOD USING ULTRASONIC WAVE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the measurement sensitivity of the liquid level in a container by providing a parallel or concentric circular curved surface in the container opposite an external surface, and bringing an opposite wall surface reflection type ultrasonic liquid level gauge to the external flank of the container. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave 5 from the opposite wall surface reflection type liquid level gauge 4 is made incident on the internal reflecting surface 3 of the container which is parallel to the external surface of the container 1 or concentrically circular, and the wave is reflected by the opposite surface 3 and detected. Further, the distance (d) to the reflecting surface is made smaller than the distance D between the wall surfaces of the container 1 to reduce attenuation, thereby easily detecting the liquid level even in a large-sized container. Consequently, the liquid level is measured in constant relation regardless of whether the container is large or small.
