PURPOSE:To provide a flat die in which a screen pack provided therein can be easily replaced, by a construction wherein a flat die can be split into an upper half and a lower half so that the upper half can be detached by removing a bolt clamping the halves to each other. CONSTITUTION:The screen pack 5 and a breaker plate 6 can be fitted into the interior of a flange form metallic connector 3 for connecting a cylinder head 1a and the flat die 4 to each other. The flat die 4 has such a construction that the upper half 4a and the lower half 4b thereof are separably clamped to each other by the bolt 9, and a groove 11 is provided on the metallic connector 3 side thereof so that a metallic support 7 for the breaker plate can be fitted in the groove 11. |
