PURPOSE:To record a read signal at a different position of the same recording medium by providing a mechanism which moves a recording and an erasing head and a reading head toward the center of rotation of the disk of the recording medium, and a disk rotational angle detecting mechanism and a variable delay mechanism for the time required for one turn of the disk. CONSTITUTION:A motor 1 rotates the magnetic disk 1 and a rotational angle detector 14 sends the rotational angle of the disk 1 to a controller 10. The controller 10 controls operations of respective parts of the device according to the rotational angle and commands supplied from a plug 20. When an erasure command is sent, a screw 5 coupled directly with a motor 4 is rotated to move the erasing head 2 to a recording content position for erasure. When a recording command is sent, the recording head 3 is moved similarly to perform recording operation. When a read command is supplied, a screw 8 connected directly to a motor 7 is rotated to move the reading head 6, whose output is sent out through a switch S16. When a transfer command is generated, the output of the head 6 is led to the variable delay device 15 and supplied to the head 3 through S17. Thus, the read signal is recorded at different positions on the same medium. |
