PURPOSE:To aim at preventing a paper jamming accident in time of paper carrying in and out, by tilting a tray around an axis paralleled in the carrying direction in time of carrying paper into the tray, while deflecting a side guide to a lower part outward, and making the tray untilted in time of carrying out the paper. CONSTITUTION:The paper copied to a front surface is carried in a housing tray in order, and at this time a solenoid 41 is excited in advance, whereby an engaging lever 42 rocks, coming off its engagement with a projection 39, and a spring clutch 27 comes into a state of being connected, then a crank 25 rocks for a while a driving shaft 26 rotates as far as 180 deg. according to rotation of a sprocket wheel 28, so that the housing tray 12 tilts and moves around a tilting- motion shaft 20, keeping its attitude till the solenoid is excited. Therefore, paper to be fed to the tray 12 is smoothly carried in without interfering with a guide 12a. Next, after prearranged sheets of paper are housed inside the tray 12, the driving shaft 26 rotates as far as 180 deg. and stops thereat whereby the tray 12 is restored to its untilled attitude, while the delivered paper is correctly conveyed along a guide 15b owing to action of an obliquing roll 15c. Thus there is no paper jamming. |
