PURPOSE:To improve the tightness by placing a lapping member betwen the valve seat face of nozzle body and the seat face of valve body then rotating one of them to rotate both of them relatively thereby sliding the valve seat face against the seat face. CONSTITUTION:Lapping member is applied onto the valve seat face 15 of nozzle body 11, then the operator will make contact the seat face 14a of valve body 14 with the valve seat face 15 with proper pressure to hold the valve body 14 standstill. Then the nozzle body 11 is rotated around the cylindrical shaft by a motor 12 to slide the valve seat face 15 against the seat face 14a. Consequently, said faces 15, 14a are polished by the lapping member to fit well thus to improve the tightness. Since fuel leakage through the gap between said face 15 and 14a during closure of fuel injection valve can be reduced, concentration of mixture gas is prevented resulting in good restarting of engine. |
