PURPOSE:To obtain a highly transparent film capable of obtaining high density record stably for over a low humidity range upto high humidity range by using an electronic conductive material. CONSTITUTION:A conductive layer 2 is provided on both sides of a transparent film base 1 having <=10<15>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity at 20+ or -2 deg.C, and 65+ or -5% RH by coating fine electronic conductive powder of particle size below the wavelength of visible rays dispersed in an org. binder. Further, a dielectric layer (recording layer) 3 is provided on another conductive layer. Thus, an electrostatic recording film having >=85% transmission factor for whole rays is obtd. A transparent film having <=10<15>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity, particularly ''Cellophane(R)'' film, etc. may be useful as the base. The electronic conductive material useful for the conductive layer 2 is fine conductive powder having <=0.2mum average particle size which is smaller than the wavelength of visible rays, for example, electroconductive ZnO powder. The powder is dispersed in an org. binder and is used for coating by diissolving in a solvent.
