PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate positioning of stopping position of track without contacting with each machining apparatus, in an automatic production line where more than three trucks are operated by a linear motor, by providing an electromagnetic device in the machining apparatus while punching a hole through the reaction motor of truck. CONSTITUTION:Positioning apparatus of the stop position of an automatic production line is provided with more than two machining apparatuses WD1-WD5 and a train of trucks C1-C5 travelling on a rail R while mounting a product P to be machined by said machining apparatuses WD1-WD5 and containing each other where a recaction plate RP is provided to each truck C1-C5 and linear motors LM1, LM2 are arranged to produce thrust at the rearmost of the truck train while to produce braking force at the head. Furthermore, electromagnetic devices DP1-DP5 are provided to respective machining apparatus WD1-WD5 while a hole MD is punched through the reaction plate of the trucks C1-C5 to excite said devices DP1-DP5 in the vicinity of predetermined stopping position of trucks C1-C5 thus to perform positioning of the stopping position. |
