PURPOSE:When the side edges of a band plate are cut by cutters, to prevent that a burr or a buckling is made, by detaining and supporting the surrounding places of the cut parts certainly, with movable supporting rollers. CONSTITUTION:Cutting heads 2 which have driven-milling-cutters 1, are set at both sides of the line of a band plate 3, respectively. The inside places of the cut parts of the band plate 3 are detained and supported by movable supporting rollers 7 which are integrated with the cutting heads 2, and the front and back places of the cut parts are detained and supported by fixed supporting rollers 9. The fixed supporting rollers 9 which are sustained by the upper frame 8, move upward and downward according to variations of thickness of the band plate 3. By the said detention and support, it is prevented that a burr or a buckling is made, when the side edges of the band plate are cut. |
