<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize the entire equipment by providing a discharge roller in a direction carrying a sheet material and at the rear direction of the reading position and constituting the said roller so as to be pressed by a recording means and providing a sheet guide plate integrally with the recording means in a copying machine and a facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission button is depressed after an original is set correctly, a pickup roller 22 is descended so as to be contacted onto the original 19a, and the original 19a is started to transmit the original 19a to the direction of arrow A. When the tip of the origial 19a is detected by a paper end detecting sensor 26, the pickup roller 22 is elevated and when the tail end of the original is detected by the paper end detection sensor 26, the roller is dropped onto the next original and the original is fed toward the arrow A. When the original is clipped by paper feeding rollers 24, 25 and carried at a prescribed speed, the original is carried to the read position while the original is guided by a thermal head 32 so as not to flap. The original 19a carried to the read position is irradiated by the light source 27, its reflected light is read by a photodetector 30 and the orignal 19a is ejected onto a tray 33.</p> |
