PURPOSE:To make a rotational amount of a roller and a conveying quantity of films securable all the time in a proportional manner, by conveying a thin platelike work such as an ink donor film or the like through a roller having minute projection on a peripheral surface and a press-contact member to be pressed by this roller. CONSTITUTION:When recording takes place, an ink donor film 1 is conveyed together with recording paper 17 being superposed on this film with rotation of a drive roller 8. At this time, each of projections 22 of the drive roller 8 is made to properly bit into a rubber layer 24 of a pinch roller 9 via the ink donor film 1 relatively by dint of spring 16, so that the ink donor film 1 is held in between so as to be interlocked with each other by the drive roller 8 and the pinch roller 9 whereby a slip is in no case produced in rotation of the drive roller 8, thus the film is followed up and conveyed without fail. Accordingly, the recording paper 17 being superposed on the ink donor film 1 is surely conveyed at the expected speed all the time and, what is more, a recording pitch, namely, a contraction magnifying power comes constant, thus recording quality is improved. |
