PURPOSE:To attain only one-touch operation of connection of a connector only by transmitting a signal to a sub-unit after a time required for the initial state setting by the sub-unit is elapsed in response to the connection interruption from a control section of a main unit and regarding it as the end of connection when a connection confirming signal responds from the sub-unit. CONSTITUTION:A connection end detecting signal is fetched to a control section 5 as a connection interruption signal 10 by software at the same time, and the control section 5 by the software recognizes the connection of the sub-unit 2. Since the control section 5 knows the time in advance required for the end of initializing of the sub-unit, a signal is transmitted to the sub-unit 2 via a transmission/reception data line 11 while checking the end of initializing and the section 5 awaits the response of a connection confirming signal (acknowledgement ack) decided in advance from the sub-unit 2. When the ack responds, the connection by a connector 3 is finished without any problem the sub-unit 2 is regarded as being set to the normal initial state and the main unit 1 transmits/ receives signal with the sub-unit 2. |
