PURPOSE:To restrain an impact force of a thrust shoe in a thrust bearing by providing an elastic support for damping the impact force caused by the thrust shoe colliding with a support body through rotary frictional force. CONSTITUTION:Thrust shoes 1 are segmental and mounted on a bearing bed 2 through a plurality of springs 3. Support bodies 4 are provided on portions opposed to the thrust shoes 1 with plate-like elastic support portions 6. Thus, since the elastic support portions 6 elastically deformed by peak frictional force in starting are provided, a impact force given to the support body 4 by the damping action of these elastic support portions 6 is restrained. |
