PURPOSE:To bring a magnetic shield near to a winding with a progress toward the low tension side, and to absorb the magnetic flux of the winding effectively by constituting a foil-wound transformer so that a distance between the magnetic shield and a high-tension winding end section is made larger than that between the magnetic shield and a low-tension winding end section. CONSTITUTION:First magnetic shields 20 are disposed where separate from the upper and lower end sections of low-tension windings 3 by l1, and second magnetic shields 21 are arranged where separate from the upper and lower end sections of high-tension windings 7 by l2. The shields 20, 21 are superposed and unified where adjacent to a reactance gap 5. The relationship of l2>l1 holds between the distances l1, l2 among the shields 20, 21 and the end sections of the windings at that time, and insulators 22 supporting the windings are mounted among the shields 20, 21 and each winding. According to such constitution, since the relationship of l2>l1 holds regarding the distances, reasonable insulating constitution is obtained, thus ensuring high dielectric strength. |
