摘要 |
PURPOSE:A bacterium capable of producing L-aminoacid is cultured in a culture medium containing saccharides as a major carbon source and an extract from a plant in Chenopodiaceae other than beet to enable high-efficiency production of the titled compound in no need of optical resolution with increased fermentation yield in reduced costs. CONSTITUTION:A bacterium capable of producing L-aminoacid such as Brevibacterium devaricatum ATCC14020 is cultured in a medium containing saccharides as a major carbon source where the fermentation is carried out in the medium to which an extract from a plant in Chenopodiaceae other than beet such as spinach is added to enable high-efficiency production of L-aminoacids. The extract is required more than 10mg, as total nitrogen, per liter of the medium.
