PURPOSE:To provide vibration resistance by providing projections on the inner wall faces at the opposite sides of a battery jar such that they will stop the stoppers of plate group or the corner section of plate. CONSTITUTION:The side endface 16 of body 2 and the projection 15 of a side wall cover 13 are thermall welded integrally. It is assembled such that the projection 14 provided on the side wall cover 13 will stop any one of the upper face of strap 11 of plate group 9 or the corner section 10 of plate group. When employing such structure where the plate group 9 is inserted from the open side face of jar body 2 into respective cell chamber 3, the upper face of strap 11 or the corner section 10 of plate group can be stopped to never cause such fault as the loosening between an inter-cell connecting pole 5 and partition through-hole 4 or breakdown at the electric resistance welding section even if a glass mat is not provided resulting in provision of vibration resistance. |
