PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight and to increase the capacity of a brushless synchronous motor by winding an armature winding and an exciting winding on a stator, and winding a field winding and an exciting armature winding on a rotor. CONSTITUTION:Armature windings 2 of basic pole number and exciting windings of three times of the basic pole number are wound on a stator 1. On the other hand, field windings 6 of basic pole number and exciting armature windings 7a, 7b of 3 times of the basic pole number are wound on a rotor 5. When an exciting current is flowed to the windings 6 only in the prescribed forward exciting direction and a load is connected with the windings 2 of the stator 1, a current is flowed to the windings 2 to supply a compensating exciting current to the windings 6 by an armature reaction. |
