PURPOSE:To discriminate open/close states of plural switches by providing capacitors in series with plural switches respectively and allowing open/close states of plural switches to correspond to the combined capacity of these capacitors. CONSTITUTION:Capacities of capacitors 5-8 connected in series to switches 1-4 are preliminarily set to C, 2C, 4C, and 8C respectively. The combined capacity viewed from a terminal 10 has the value of 0-15C in accordance with the combination of open/close states of switches 1-4. Consequently, the value of the combined capacity viewed from the terminal 10 is detected to discriminate open/ close states of switches 1-4. For example, if the value of the combined capacity viewed from the terminal 10 is 5C, it is judged that switches 1 and 3 are closed and switches 2 and 4 are opened.
