PURPOSE:To soften the touch of a flocked pile by laminating nonwoven fabric on a base material consisting of a thermoplastic resin, softening the laminated body by heating and molding with a press, then coating an adhesive on the nonwoven fabric and raising the flocked pile. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of nonwoven fabric 2 comprising a thermoplastic resin such as polyester, polypropylene, etc. is laminated on a base plate 1 consisting of a thermoplastic resin. The laminated body is softened by heating with an electric heater 3 at 150-250 deg.C, and molded to a specified shape with a press 4, and the base plate 1 is melted to stick to the nonwoven fabric 2 to form a base material 5. Then, an acrylic adhesive 7 is coated on the surface of the base material 5 with a spray 6, and the flocked pile 8 comprising short fibers is raised in an electrostatic flocking machine 10 before the adhesive 7 is hardened. The adhesive 7 is then hardened in a drying oven 9; thus, the flocked body is completed.
