PURPOSE:To increase the sectional area of a lead wire, to reduce current density thereof and to prevent partial heating by forming the shape of the lead wire fixed to the end section of a metallic sheet in a tabular conductor and forming a projection to the tabular conductor. CONSTITUTION:A tabular conductor 20 extending in the width direction of a metallic sheet 2 is fastened at the end section of the metallic sheet 2. A projection 21 is shaped adjoined to the lead side end section of the sheet 2 in a surface on the side reverse to the sheet 2 in the conductor 20. An opening section 23 fitted to the projection 21 on the conductor 20 is shaped on a base cylinder 22 disposed on the outside of the leg section of a core. Accordingly, the sectional area of the tabular conductor is increased only by the thickness of the projection 21 in the sheet lead side end section of the conductor 20, thus preventing partial heating due to current concentration. Since the conductor 20 can be brought into contact with a refrigerant through the opening section 23, the cooling characteristics of the titled transformer are also improved. |
