PURPOSE:A tea having good luster, increased mellowness, eased astringency, and improve quality, obtained by adsorbing adlay extract powder on leaves of tea tree. CONSTITUTION:For example, when tea that is immediately after preparation and not screened is prepared from tea trees, evergreens of many years, belonging to the family Theaceae (Camellia sasanqua thunb.) by a tea manufacturing plant and, in rubbing process, an aqueous solution of adlay extract powder is added and adsorbed on leaves of tea trees, to give the desired tea.
