PURPOSE:To detect the service life of battery easily and accurately by constructing such that the shoulder section of positive plate and an acid-proof metal electrode will contact and conduct in the final stage of service life. CONSTITUTION:The metal electrode 8 of battery is connected through a lead wire 10 with a resistor 11, while the lead wire 10 is connected with the negative pole. the positive plate shoulder and the metal electrode are arranged with predetermined gap. Said gap is within 30-80% of expansion occurring in the final stage of service life of the positive plate. Consequently, an alarm can be provided prior to extinction of the service life of battery. Detection of service life through conduction is informed by lighting LED. In such a manner, an accurate service life detecting function can be provided easily. |
