PURPOSE:To use just a single piece of connection line and to eliminate the shift among color signals by transmitting the video color signals of a CRT device in the prescribed order. CONSTITUTION:The color video signals are transmitted between a CRT device and a printer via a piece of connection line. In this case, a transmission start signal ST is produced by synthesizing plural vertical synchronizing signals within the CRT device so that a vertical synchronizing signal is distinguished from a horizontal synchronizing signal HT. The signal ST is sent to a color printer. Then all signals are sent continuously in the order of the signal HT, the red video signal R on the 1st scan line on the CRT and so on up to the final signal R. Then the signal VT, the green video signal G, the signal VT and the blue video signal B are sent successively. These video signals are stored in each color memory set at the printer side. When all memory actions are over, the printer reads each color signal to the scan lines out of each memory to print them.
