PURPOSE:To enable the control pressure of a valve for recycling exhaust gas to be always held at a specified value through absorption of a fluctuation in a pressure by means of a buffer part, by a method wherein the buffer part, having a volume higher than that of a flow passage, is disposed in a position in the flow passage which controls the valve. CONSTITUTION:A valve 3 for recycling exhaust gas, which controls opening and closing of an exhaust gas passage 1, is disposed in a passage 2 communicated with the intake air side of an exhaust gas passage 1 of an engine. The valve 3 is constituted such that the opening of the valve is freely controlled by means of a gas pressure in flow passages 5 and 6 on the negative pressure side and on the atmospheric pressure side, respectively. In this constitution, a buffer part 11 is disposed in a position in a flow passage 7 which controls the valve 3. A reservoir chamber 12 for fluid serving to control the valve 3 is located to the buffer part 11, and the volume of the reservoir 12 is increased over that of the flow passage 7. This enables absorption of the fluctuation in a pressure of a vacuum pump 4 and a fluctuation in a pressure due to leakage past electromagnetic valves 8 and 9 by means of the buffer 11, and enables the opening of the valve 3 to be always maintained at a specified value. |
