ROLLING METHOD AND ROLL CONTROLLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a double folding at the front and rear end parts of rolling material and the abrasion of a guide on the inlet side with controlling the cambering of a rolling material by releasing the guide on the inlet side after biting of a rolling material in the rolling mill providing a cambering controlling device. CONSTITUTION:When the tip part of a rolling material 6 is bitten by a rolling mill 1, a load cell 11 transmits a biting signal and the cambering of the rolling material 6 thereafter is controlled based on the signal transmitted from a cambering detector 2. In this case a command signal is transmitted simultaneously from a cambering controlling device 3 to a guide controlling device 10 as well and guides 7, 7 are parted with driving a motor 9. The regulations of the position in width direction of the rolling material 6 are thus released and the position of the rolling material 6 is controlled by the device 3. As a result the double folding of the front and rear end of the rolling material 6 and the abrasion of guides 7, 7 can be prevented.
