The invention relates to a machine for soldering or desoldering components, comprising a pot 2 equipped with an internal duct 6, an auxiliary container 3, pipework means connecting the container 3, on the one hand, to the pot 2 by means of a valve 10 and, on the other hand, to the duct 6, and means 14 for pressurising the solder bath contained in the auxiliary container; these means are particularly constituted by a movable plunger and generate a rise of the liquid in the duct by communicating-vessel effect so as to condition (adjust) the formation of a solder bath wave overflowing from the duct 6 towards the pot 2. <IMAGE>
