PURPOSE:To obtain a tap changer of heat-resisting, mechanically strong, can be dried in a shorter time, small size and light weight by making members except conductive ones with fine ceramics. CONSTITUTION:Other members, i.e., a fixed brace 11, a moving brace 13, a traveling contact support 15, a support 17 at the upper part of a tap selector, the bottom 18 of the tap selector, a driving pipe 16, a driving toothed wheel mechanism 14, etc. except conductive members, a fixed contact 9, a tap lead wire 8, a moving contact 10, etc. in the tap selector 3 coupled with the bottom 5 of a change-over switch 2 are made of fine ceramics which has equal mechanical strength to metal and is excellent in thermal resistance and these members are installed in the tap selector 3. Since the above-mentioned parts are not required to be electrically connected to have electric potential, the distance between the uppermost and the lowermost fixed and moving contacts can be reduced. |
