The invention relates to the technical sectors of washing or cleaning and of electric motors. This device comprises in combination an electric drive motor M shaped so that the control shaft extends beyond the two lateral flanges of the said motor; each of the jutting out ends of the shaft being arranged to be coupled directly to the inside of a speed reducer 2 and 3 whose housing is fastened to the flanges of the motor, the output shaft of each of the two speed reducers 2-3 being capable of receiving the brushes for cleaning or the like to drive them in rotation.
