Sludge dehydration process and a plant making use of this process. The invention also relates to a sludge filtration device. This process, intended to treat very liquid sludge originating, for example, from small-sized purification stations, is characterised in that two different filtrations of the sludge are carried out successively to make it pelletable, a centrifugal filtration followed by a gravity filtration. The invention also proposes a plant mounted on a movable vehicle which allows the highly liquid sludge to be concentrated at the removal site, which allows the volume transported to be considerably reduced. The invention also relates to a filter device consisting of a concentrating rotary drum whose sludge feed is central.
