The container set has a plate (2) and a plurality of containers (1) which are accommodated therein and are connected releasably to the plate via locking means. The containers protrude through openings (4) in the plate (2) such that they, and not the plate, form the resting surface. This resting surface may be provided with an anti-slip coating. When containers are used whose lid (3') is seated with frictional engagement on the container, a particular, slightly frustoconical support flange (11) may be provided for each container, which support flange provides the necessary support of the fingers for removing the lid. <IMAGE>
