摘要 PURPOSE:To increase thermal efficiency in the above-captioned power plant and make a coal gasification furnace compact, by introducing steam generated from a steam generator in the coal gasification furnace into the coal gasification furnace. CONSTITUTION:In the above-captioned power plant, a coal 1 is gasified in a gasification furnace 2 by using oxygen or air as a gasifying agent. A crude generation gas 4 generated in the furnace 2 is cooled in a heat recovery boiler 5, and is fed to a gas refiner 7 in which a toxic substance is removed to form a fuel gas 8. The fuel gas 8 is burnt in a gas turbine combustor 9 under supply of compressed air from a compressor 10, and is fed to a gas turbine 11 as a high temperature gas to drive a generator 12. Exhaust gas 13 from the gas turbine 11 is fed to an exhaust heat recovery boiler 14 together with steam 15 from the gasification furnace 2 and steam from the heat recovery boiler 5. At this time, a part 35 of the steam 15 from the gasification furnace 2 is introduced into the gasification furnace 2 so as to increase the amount of the crude generation gas.
