PURPOSE:To obtain recording images of high quality free from unevenness and thinning by disposing separate magnetic poles near the magnetic pole face supporting built-up ink, reducing the radius of the end of the build-up of the ink and increasing recovery rate. CONSTITUTION:When another magnetic poles 11, 12 are disposed near the magnetic pole face supporting built-up ink, the magnetic lines 10 of forces from the magnetic pole face supporting the built-up ink become crest form by the effect of the magnetic poles 11, 12. The built-up shape of the magnetic fluid formed by these magnetic lines of force yields the built-up form of a small build-up end radius without any constriction owing to the effect of the magnetic poles separate from the magnetic pole face. In addition, when the built-up ink 13 flies for the purpose of recording and is thus consumed, the new ink 13 is replenished by magnetic force from a felt 14, thus the recovery speed for recovering the build-up form may be increased. In this way, the recording images of high quality may be obtained at a high speed. |
