PURPOSE:To make it possible to implement a circuit, in which linear and digital elements are mixed in a high degree of integration, in a short time, by providing a transistor array part and a capacitor array part on the same semiconductor substrate. CONSTITUTION:On a semicoductor substrate, an I/O pad and peripheral circuit part 14, a transistor array part (gate array part) 13 and a capacitor array part 12 are formed. In the capacitor array part 12, e.g., a P<+> type diffused layer 22 is formed on an N<-> type substrate 21, and a capacitor is formed by an SiO2 layer 23 and a metal 24. Thus the capacitor can be used in addition to the transistor. Therefore, a linear circuit can be readily formed. For examples, an integrator, a filter, an A/D converter and a D/A converter can be formed. By the constitution using the transistor and the capacitor, the hybrid linear and digital IC can be constituted. Various circuits such as these can be realized in a short time by the change in wiring. |
