PURPOSE:To prevent the oblique running and meandering of a transfer material by straightening a guide part, by bringing a pair of guide parts to arrangement relation such that the rear surfaces thereof are elastically deplaced to a direction for widening the gap therebetween when inserted into studs. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide parts 37 are elastically displaced to a direction for widening the gap therebetween when the rear surfaces 37a are inserted into studs 51. That is, the vicinal parts of the guide parts 37 are bent to a Y-direction around the vicinities of the X-parts of a case and elastically displaced to positions 37' and closely contacted with the peripheral surfaces of the studs 51 by the elastic force thereof. Therefore, when warpage is generated in the guide parts 37 integrally formed along with the case 33 from a resin in the axial direction thereof from the beginning, said warpage is corrected and the straight guide parts 37 can be formed. By this method, the damage or jamming of a thermal transfer ribbon 15 caused by the oblique running and meandering of said ribbon 15 guided along the outer surfaces of the guide parts 37 and receiving wind-up displacement can be prevented.
