ELECTRONIC COPYING MACHINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a paper discharge roller and to reduce the size of the copying machine by arranging a paper discharge tray which holds copy paper after transfer at the downstream side of a roller which constitutes a fixing device for toner images directly without any intervention of other rollers. CONSTITUTION:An original image is projected and formed on a photosensitive body to form an electrostatic latent image. The electrostatic latent image is developed with other and the toner image is transferred to copy paper. The transferred toner image is fixed and the paper is discharged. The fixing device for the toner image consists of two rollers 43 and 44 which have peripheral surfaces pressed partially against each other. The paper discharge tray 48 which holds the transfer paper after the fixation is installed at the downstream side of the rollers without any intervention of other rollers. Thus, there is no paper discharge roller installed unlike a conventional device, and the number of parts is decreased and the size of the copying machine frame is reduced.
