<p>PURPOSE:To form judgment on acceleration always accurately by judging acceleration from the length of the lapse of time of the supercharged pressure of intake air, from a first defined supercharged pressure to a second defined supercharged pressure. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is operated, a control unit 59 takes in the output signal of a supercharged pressure sensor 85, compares a detected supercharged pressure P with a first set supercharged pressure P0 and, when P>P0, forms judgment whether the P has just exceeded the P0 or not. When judged yes, it determines an acceleration judging reference time T0 corresponding to an engine speed obtained from the output of a crank angle sensor 83, while starts a timer. Next, the supercharged pressure P is compared with a second set supercharged pressure P1 and, when P>P1, the value of said timer is read, and compared with said time T0. If the value of the timer is less than said time T0, judgment is formed to be rapid rise in supercharged pressure and therefore an acceleration, and a solenoid valve 78 is controlled to carry out overboost controlling.</p> |
