摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease loss due to transparent conducting films and to obtain a large generated current, by coating a plurality of electrodes, which are formed on the surface of a glass substrate by transparent electrodes, forming amorphous silicon films thereon, and forming back surface electrodes on the films so as to face and contact with said electrodes. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a glass substrate 10, many electrodes 11 comprising Ti, Al and Ag are formed at an equal interval in the longitudinal direction, with an interval being provided in the direction of width. Transparent conducting films 12 are formed thereon with an interval being provided in the direction of width so as to cover the electrodes 11 neighboring in the width direction. Thus an amorphous solar battery substrate is obtained. Or the transparent conducting film 12 can be uniformly formed on the glass substrate 10, the transparent conducting films 12 are patterned and the amorphous solar battery substrate can be obtained. Then, amorphous silicon films 13 are laminated on the transparent conducting film 12. Or the amorphous silicon film 13 is uniformly laminated and then it can be patterned. A back surface electrode 14 is formed on each amorphous silicon film 13. The films and the electrodes are connected in series.
