<p>PURPOSE:To unify conveyor member moving mechanisms over the total length of a conveyance line, by carrying out work at a working station without stopping the movement of conveyor members. CONSTITUTION:When a conveyor truck is moved to a receiving position A, a vehicle body (a) on the conveyor truck is supported by a workpiece receiver 7a. A put-in truck 7 is then moved to a work station 2 so that the vehicle body (a) is set on a jig 6 and a door (b) is attached to the vehicle body. During the work of the attachment, the put-in truck 7 is returned to the receiving position A, and a send-out truck is moved to the work station 2 and caused to wait thereat. After the work of the attachment, the put-in truck 7 and the send-out truck are moved to the work station 2 and a receiving position B, respectively. After that, another vehicle body is coveyed and set on the jig 6, and the former vehicle body finished as to the work is conveyed and set on the emptied conveyor truck moved backward through a space under the jig 6 during the work of the attachment.</p> |
