PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support member which can satisfactorily separate in separating a recording medium from a belt, and provide a printing method.SOLUTION: A tray (a support member) 6 is used together with a printer 1 which includes a conveying part having an endless belt 53 for conveying a flexible test paper 100, and an ink jet head 131 for printing on the test paper 100 conveyed by the endless belt 53.
