An operating knob of a switch is caused to vibrate so that, without even having to look at the switch and even if the design and type of arrangement of the switches are identical to one another, the possibility is provided, by sensing the vibrations of the operating knob, of instantaneously identifying the function of the operating knob which a fingertip has touched.
