PURPOSE:To reproduce effectively a program recorded on a disc by storing another audio data in an area where audio data or video data is not stored and outputting this stored audio data at a proper timing. CONSTITUTION:Signals read from the disc on a turntable 1 pass an FM demodulating part 6 and an error detecting and correcting part 7 and are obtained as a digital signal train where audio data, video data, address data, and auxiliary data constitute one block. If video data of audio data has no signals in a certain sampling period with respect to this signal string video data other than original video data is recorded in this area, and this recorded video data is stored in a storage part 13. After return to the normal operation, a control microcomputer 10 indicates the output of contents of the storage part 13 at a proper timing. Thus, the program recorded on the disc is reproduced effectively. |
